SOLUTIONS FOR DIFFERENTIATED ACCOUNTABILITY SCHOOLS

FLORIDA LEADERSHIP ACADEMY	The Florida Leadership Academy provides the professional development necessary to affect school-wide change and positively impact student success in a standards-based environment. From using assessment data to differentiating instruction, administrators, coaches, and teachers learn to implement standards-based instruction throughout their school.
COACHING ACADEMY	The America's Choice Coaching Academy supports district- and school-level staff in making the jump from being great administrators and teachers into being great coaches.
	Unlike any other available intervention, Mathematics Navigator identifies and addresses the math misconceptions that research shows holds students back. The program also builds skills, problem solving and the conceptual understanding needed for success in algebra. The modular program targets student needs using diagnostic screeners and includes pre-tests, checkpoints, and post-tests that help teachers differentiate instruction and check progress.
	Literacy Navigator represents a new approach that targets students, including English language learners, who struggle to comprehend content-area text. Literacy Navigator uses instructional strategies based on cognitive science and reading research to explicitly teach the structures found in informational texts. The program builds recognition and understanding of elements critical to comprehending content-rich texts - dense passages, connecting words, pronoun reference, substitute words and phrases. Literacy Navigator builds knowledge of and fluency with academic language and common tier-two vocabulary. Embedded assessments help identify instructional needs and monitor student progress.
	Writing Aviator is an instructional system that strengthens writing effectiveness and fluency. Writing Aviator provides focused instruction and intense practice in writing, teaching students the writing process—planning, drafting, editing, and revising. The program provides a content-rich curriculum with genre studies in narrative, report, and persuasive writing. Writing Aviator goes beyond the writing workshop to provide clear instruction in the craft of writing.
